#help keep pitches in good condition

I appreciate that many of you and your players do abide by these rules but please ensure you pass the information along to your teams and visitors so that they too are aware.

If you require information on pitches being affected by the weather, information about the site; or you need assistance once on site please call our site number: 07928 475640

For the venue manager: 07342 886943 (9am to 8pm)

I have a few requests and reminders to pass along as Schools Plus and Hazelwick School are looking to keep all pitches in good condition:

ALL WEATHER ASTRO PITCH

● No studs on the AWP at any time. This pitch is not suited to ANY studs. You can only use ‘astro’ type boots or trainers on this pitch. Anybody not adhering will be asked to sit out or change their footwear.
● Goals can be moved for your session to be effective but please return them to the position where you found them. If there is a following group please return them still or tell that group where they go.
● Hockey Goals are for Hockey only. Footballs will quickly ruin hockey goals and they are not cheap to repair or replace. Any groups found to be using hockey goals may be fined £100and/or asked to contribute to the cost of any repairs.
● Mud is regularly being brought onto the AWP from the fields as people use the grass areas to have a kick about whilst they wait for their pitch to become available. This clogs the fibres and reduces the drainage qualities of the surface.
● Changing is not allowed on the pitch or in the car park. This is a school and as such changing on school grounds is not permitted. If you need to change please book changing rooms or use the toilet facilities on site.

GRASS PITCHES

● Mud is getting onto the Astro. If using the grass pitches and then the ‘astro’ please ensure you change footwear or clean between surfaces. If you have a player collecting a wayward shot please ask them to stomp off as much mud as possible before entering the area.
● Unused pitches are getting ruined, particularly the goal mouths by people having a kick about. This is unacceptable and groups will be charged for the additional use where necessary. As such can I suggest you keep an eye out and politely ask people to not use goals and pitches they haven't paid for or report this to a member of Schools Plus staff.
● Pitch timings. Please note that your booking only includes 15 minutes of use prior to the k/o time you have requested. If you need additional warm-up time please let us know so that we can extend your letting accordingly.
● Coaches must be the last to leave a pitch. They are responsible for ensuring any litter is removed, be it from their side or the away team. Failure to clear up can result in a cleaning fee being added to persistent offenders.
● Cycling is not permitted on or around the grass pitches. If you have a bicycle please dismount and push around the edges.
● Dogs are NOT (except guide dogs). If you see dogs please report to Schools Plus staff.
