After the dodgiest drive from Crawley to The Triangle in terrible rain, the sun came out for the start of our match. That meant a very slippery pitch and a determination to make the game as hard for ourselves as we can. We started off fast and furious which left us open in places, but we managed to recover and slow it down and play a better game of hockey in the second half. It was an enjoyable game with goals from Becky Karsenbarg and Meg Boyle in the first half and Corinna Luxford in the second half.
