Following on from the success in the league and narrow defeat in the EH Vase Final last season, the Men's 1st XI have a jam-packed pre-season schedule to prepare for competition in the Kent/Sussex Regional 1 League and EH Cup & Trophy.

Many club members have already begun fitness training with Steve Wright ahead of the season at Maidenbower Playing Fields which continues from 7-8pm every Wednesday until 19th August. The Men's 1s and 2s will then commence training on the pitch at Hazelwick from Wednesday 26th August onwards.

Skipper Alex Watson and coach Keith Frimley have been busy securing pitch time throughout September with local, competitive sides. The schedule is as follows:
