This will be a massive test for us again. Addiscombe were a very tough opposition last season, but there's no reason why we can't get the win and go all the way to Lee Valley again this year.

The Men's 2s start the cup campaign against Addiscombe in what is a repeat fixture of their amazing success in 2018/19.

Addiscombe are in Surrey Division 1 which is equivalent to a league above the Men's 2s.

Crawley caused an upset and won that fixture 4-2 but the game was incredibly close and Addiscombe could have easily been 3-0 up in first 15 minutes, but for some outstanding saves from Lewis Cordingley.

CHC scored 3 first half goals to go into half time with a 3-0 lead (goals from Scott Mansfield and two short corners from Karl Bass).
CHC extended their lead to 4-0 through a counter attack goal from Scott Gibbons goal in the 50th minute before Addiscombe scored two late goals.

With both teams playing well this season, we are sure it's going to be another close encounter.
