Mid Sussex Ladies 1's 2 - 0 Crawley Ladies 1's

On a windy day, Crawley Ladies were unfortunate to lose 2-0 to a strong Mid Sussex side.

Crawley started the game strongly with some good pressure in the oppositions 22. However, a quick break from Mid Sussex resulted in them going 1-0 up before the break.

The second half was very evenly matched with Crawley generating a lot of opportunities that were continuously blocked by the oppositions goalkeeper. Good defending from Crawley also stopped most Mid Sussex chances including several short corners. However, towards the end of the game another quick break saw Mid Sussex score their second.

Crawley were very unfortunate to come away with no points after a good overall team performance. Special mention goes to Sue for stepping in to goal.
