Congratulations to Keith Frimley who will be playing at the EH Men's Over 50 Tier 1 Championship Final at Nottingham Hockey Centre on 5th September, this was originally to be played at Lee Valley on 25th April but postponed due to Covid-19 restrictions.
Thanks to England Hockey and Nottingham Hockey Centre for ensuring the finals can now go ahead.
Keith has played in all three matches in the competition as a guest player for Indian Gymkhana, first round beating Tunbridge Wells 7-3, quarter final beating Sevenoaks on P flicks after a 2-2 draw and securing a 2-0 victory in the semi-final against Reading.
Keith has previously been to Lee Valley twice with CHC but not coming away with a winners medal having managed the 1st team to the EH Vase Cup Final in 2015 and playing for CHC 2nd team in last seasons Tier 4 cup final. He is hoping it's 3rd time lucky with Indian Gymkhana.
It's going to be a cracking match against Stourport who also reached last season's final but lost out to Reading losing 4-1.
We wish Keith and all the guys at Indian Gymkhana the best of luck in the final.
