A determined performance by the Hawks saw them come back from a goal down three times to earn a deserved point against a skilful Horsham Hotshots side. Crawley had a number of chances before Horsham went ahead at a short corner. Zac Risby and James Cordery used their speed to good effect to put pressure on the Horsham goal and would have equalised if there had been goal line technology following a goal mouth scramble. However, a later chance was taken by James Cordery meaning the score was 1-1 at half time.
The second half continued in the same way. Crawley with quick attacks and Horsham being restricted by great tackling and pressure from the Crawley defence and midfield, as well as some fine saves by Ashton Andrews. Horsham went ahead again through a penalty flick, only for Crawley to draw level again with another Cordery goal. Horsham then scored from a short corner which was followed by Risby and Cordery combining again for the final Crawley goal. The result means that the Hawks are now unbeaten in 5 matches.
